Madrid

Madrid is a lively city, especially before a soccer game. Everyone gathers in the squares ALL the time, and everyone is out strolling ALL the time. This weekend there was a soccer game with Brasil  and there was a steel drum band playing in a nearby square. Infectious excitement and the crowd went wild when they spotted a Brazilian player in the  audience.

It's very hot here...love that. I've been hanging out with  a great couple from Sacramento. It turns out he's a judge, which he doesn't like to tell people because "they  change their behavior".
