Hello all,
Went to the Orangerie today to see Monet's Waterlilies. It was an amazing experience. There were 2 very large rooms of the oversized paintings....each picture about 24 feet long...all in all about 6 per room and it was meditative and beautiful. Ate a crepe from a street vendor...a must-do.
Walked thru the Tuilleries all the way from the Louvre to the  Place de la Concorde with the Obelisque. The French really know how to do elegant. Incredibly busy on the streets, definitely tourist season.
